What does "fractional operator" actually mean?
A senior leader who joins your team part-time, with real ownership of outcomes. Not a consultant who hands you a deck, not an agency running campaigns from a distance. We sit inside the business, do the work, and report against the same numbers you do.
What kinds of brands do you work with?
Founder-led consumer brands, typically post-revenue and pre-Series A. CPG, food & bev, alcohol & spirits, health & supplement, beauty & personal care, and the print & packaging companies that support them.
How long does a typical engagement last?
Projects typically run 3 to 6 months around a defined scope. Longer term partnerships roll quarter to quarter and most run 12+ months. The honest answer: as long as we're moving the business and no longer than that.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
Agencies own deliverables. We own outcomes. You get an operator inside your team who can hire, fire, sign contracts, sit in board meetings, and make the call when one needs making.
Do you take equity in brands?
Sometimes, usually as part of a longer Partnership engagement where the alignment makes sense for both sides. It's never the default and never a requirement. Cash works.
Do you invest in the brands you work with?
We're not a venture fund, and we don't write checks just to pull the money back out as service fees. That said, in select cases we'll take equity in lieu of fees, or write a smaller early check when the alignment is right.
